ECN bills usage, not seats. You pay for the work the AI actually does — a prospecting run, an enrichment, a draft — metered transparently.

Credits, in plain terms

  • Work is billed in credits (pegged at $0.10 / credit).
  • Pricing is cost-plus: a credit tracks the real cost of the action, so you’re never billed below cost and there’s no hidden markup.
  • Cheap things stay cheap. Reading the directory or your context is near-free; the cost is in AI generation and paid data lookups (like buying-signal scans).
You can always check the live rate card for your environment at GET /api/v1/credits/rate-cards/, and your balance with the get_wallet_balance tool or in the workspace.

Hosted is the convenience layer; self-hosting is always an option because the core is open source. Why you can trust it.

How to think about ROI

The point of cost-plus + usage billing is a clean energy return: you spend credits to surface prospects who are already signaling intent, then your team’s time goes only to the best-ranked ones. You’re paying to skip the cold-list grind, and you can see exactly what each step cost.
Current plans, included credits, and credit packs live in your workspace and on the pricing page at earthcare.network — they evolve, so this page stays principles-only rather than quoting numbers that could drift.
