# Trust & transparency

Growth tools ask you to trust them with your reputation and your money. Here's how
ECN earns that.

## You approve what goes out

The prospecting pipeline **drafts** outreach — it never blasts on its own. AI-authored
content enters as a draft and a human approves before it sends. You stay in the loop on
your own voice and your own relationships.

  One exception worth knowing: a direct "compose and send" tool exists for connected
  email. It sends when called, so it's only for trusted, deliberate use — the bulk
  prospecting flow stays approval-gated.

## Transparent, cost-plus pricing

Every AI action is metered at **real cost-plus** — credits track what an action
actually cost to run, so you're never billed below cost and there are no hidden markup

## Open core, no lock-in

* **Open source (AGPLv3).** The platform core is open. You're not betting your business
  on a black box.
* **Self-host option.** Run ECN yourself with your own AI keys and pay providers
  directly — **\$0 to ECN** for AI usage.
* **Portable profile.** Your business profile is published to
  [Murmurations](https://murmurations.network), an open network — it isn't trapped inside ECN.

## Values-aligned by design

## Your data stays scoped
